Plate 3 has two sets of Joycean marks. Red lines summarise Ulysses’ voyage and pick out Lipari Island in particular, once the capital of King Aeolus, Master of the Winds. Blue lines mark Baltic cities, including Tilsit, which seems to have given its name to Jenny Tilsit, victim of a ‘fowl murder’ in the Cyclops episode.
